Does not disappoint
Got this as my main Christmas present and frankly, the performance was exceptional straight out of the box. I'm using HDMI cables with all my stuff, so that may contribute to the wonderful display, but even on its own, this device has done nothing but impress me. Set up was very simple, taking less than 6 minutes to get it all set up on my dresser. The colors are vivid and the lines are clear and the remote that came with it really adds to the experience. Living in a college dorm, space is a significant constraint, but not with Vizio. Thanks to their super-thin screen, I was able to fit in on top of my dresser, getting around the other clutter that had made the space previously unusable. By far, the best Christmas present I have ever gotten, I plan to have many more happy years with this TV in college and beyond.

Convienient
This TV is better than I expected. Not only is it easy to set up and hook up to your home theater, but the image is super crisp. It took me a whole 5 minutes to set it up. Plus it has many features that make this item an even better purchase. (Just read the description.). I'm happy!

Amazing!
Great TV. 1080p, LED backlit, ton of hook-ups. Amazing picture, great blacks and whites, everything is very clear, really good options for optimizing picture to suit your needs.Two minor things I don't like: VGA instead of DVI, and no 3.5mm output for headphones - so be prepared to have DVI to VGA and/or 3.5mm to RCA adapters if you want those features.

I bought this on sale from Amazon, so the price was VERY good compared to some of the other 32" models on the market. I had seen that it received an "excellent" picture quality score from a leading electronics review magazine, so I had fairly high expectations. It actually EXCEEDED my expectations, and then some! Absolutely FANTASTIC picture quality!!! Any of my friends and family that have seen it have commented on the picture quality without even knowing that it was a new tv. I have a couple of big, high-end plasma and LCD tv's in my place, but this little thing actually beats them in picture quality. I don't find the sound to be "poor" as some reviews had mentioned. Sure, it's not the same as hearing sound through a big home theater system, but it isn't offensive in any way. This was also the first time I had mail ordered a tv. Beautiful picture and very easy set up
First, I would like to say that for over $600, I think this TV should have a stand that swivels at least a BIT, and it doesn't. But that's a minor gripe. This TV takes the place in my living room (main TV viewing area) of a Samsung 720p resolution TV of the same size. Those who say you cannot tell the difference on smaller screens like this--I disagree. I can tell the difference. Not that the Samsung picture wasn't good--but this is better. The sound on this set is vastly superior to the Samsung. The set up process was really simple; in fact simpler than the "quick start guide" because my stand was actually already screwed on and only the very base needed to be attached; there were no instructions for that, or for the little pin you use to do that, but it was pretty obvious what to do. I had no trouble removing the TV from the box and setting it up myself. I found it a little difficult to plug the HDMI cables in due to their location on the underside of a "bump" on the back and...

Best Picture Sound not as much
Wow, LED LCD provides a fantastic picture. This set replaced a 26" Vizio that I thought had a great picture. The LED picture is much better and brighter. One thing that is not readily apparent is the power supply.Most televisions have a transformer on the inside that converts 115v or 220v to 12v, this TV uses an external 12v converter/power supply and the 12 v plugs into the back of the set. This might make it easier to install in an RV or other camping/water option. The power supply is about the same size as a Laptop Power Supply.Sound is a bit of a problem. It is somewhere between as good to superior to many other televisions, but it is NOT real surround and does not have a sub woofer, so...Set up: Opened the box, laud TV on bed, took down old TV, swapped out the mount, and had the new set operating within 20 min. We purchased this TV from a large box store to replace the kids's movie/game tube TV.I've heard Vizio is the "quality" budget tv maker. And it seems true based on a friend who purchased a Vizio as well as from what I've read online.I was pleased to have access to LED technology at such a great price. But what I discovered was that the reason Vizio can offer this tv at such a great price is because they have used the very poorest sound technology that they could get away with and not have to call this a computer monitor (which usually ships with no speakers).My iPhone/iPod has better sound quality than this tv. My alarm clock speakers are better than the speakers in this tv. The voices in my crazy neighbor's head come in better quality than the sounds coming from this tv. And there's a reason.Vizio is now also in the soundbar business. They are selling external home theater options, which they obviously mean to sell along with this tv...

Great Picture... tingy sound.
We bought this 32 inch LED LCD for two reasons, first the price. We got our on Black Friday for $350 which is the same price we paid for a 19" LCD a few years ago. We felt this was an outstanding price for the product. Second, we bought the TV for it's picture quality which is great. I use the product in it's RETAIL picture mode vice hit HOME picture mode (Home dims the brightness automatically as room lighting changes where as RETAIL keeps the brightness at full). The sound is adequate for voice only and is very shallow. We didn't get the sound bar as we already had a stereo system to hook audio up to. If you get this TV you will need something else to boost the sound for movies and most of your other content.

Best TV I own!
Upgraded to this 37" Vizio from a 26" 3 ton monster in the bedroom. A few years ago I thought my DLP was a nice picture even next to a plasma, but this LED is really nice. I thought I needed a 120 refresh rate, but after researching, I found that on this 37" I can't even tell the difference. The picture is better than watching a blue-ray disc.......especially when watching "Monday Night Football". This was my best choice to get a 37" in a cabinet 36" across. All of the others were a little wider than 36", but this one was 34.7" wide. A great TV and I don't have to angle it in the cabinet.........what more could one ask.?!!! I never even heard of Vizio until recently and I love it!

Great TV
Purchased one of these for a beach condo. Excellent picture, easy setup and it was able to find a number of "unlisted" channels on the cable system including HD versions of the local network channels the the other TV was not able to find.The picture quality is outstanding with the high contrast ratio and very effective light sensor. It's only a 60 Hz set so games may not look too good but so far the tickers etc. that normally smear with less than 120 hZ are clear as a bell. The new graphics engines and the 8 ms panels are amazing.. This one doesn't have all the internet connectivity but that isn't needed for this application and you can get a lot of it in a $100 Blue-Ray player now. Looks great, well designed, well packed, no issues, recommended.
I got this TV after returning an iSymphony LED32IF50 which had terrible color fidelity. This TV is better in many, many ways.Setup: I'm running HDMI 1080P from a Zotac Zbox-Ad02-plus-U running Ubuntu Natty and Boxee to play content over gigE from a local media server. I've only connected this TV with HDMI, and I stuck an antenna on the DTV to make sure it worked. NOTA BENE: I'm not using the sound in the TV - I have the Zbox's TOSLINK digital sound output connected to a 5.1 receiver, so I am _not_ reviewing the audio / speakers - only the video / picture features.Pros: - Color fidelity and resolution is great, color bars and test patterns show the right hues and brightnesses. - There are enough options for overscan / zoom / wide stretch etc. to make source material correctly fill the screen. - The ergonomics of the connectors and stand are well thought out. Only 32" set I could find that had usable speakers
As many have found, the questionable race to make the thinnest tv set has a major casualty: the internal speakers. While I'm perfectly happy having a set thats 3-5" thick, you cant put a decent speaker in a 1-2" set. I discovered this when I bought a beautiful looking 60" set that had thin speakers pointing down from the bottom of the set. Unless I planned to lay under the tv while watching it, I couldnt even coax enough volume out of the set to drown out the dishwasher in the kitchen.So with that in mind, when my sons bedroom tv started making "The Hum Of Impending Death", I went looking for a 32" replacement. My desired features were an LED set so I dont have to get as annoyed when he leaves it on, 1080p so it could be used as a computer monitor or for some other high definition gui based device down the road, a good picture, good enough internal speakers to not require a sound bar, and as far under $400 as I could get it.I spent 3 days touring every...

PICK ME! PICK ME!
This was my first flat screen TV! Before I began I didn't even know what LED meant. I chose this Vizio 32 inch model after weeks of research and I'm glad I did. Don't let its simple look fool you. I was going to go with the Vizio XVT323SV model with internet apps, but didn't think I needed all that even though I use this TV mostly for gaming, Netflix movies and DVD's.Let me start out by saying the picture is fantastic! A friend of mine was here when I turned it on and the game was crystal clear. We both exclaimed - 'Wow!'. There are so many options on the menu to adjust the color and picture but the best setting is 'Retail' because the colors really pop. You can also customize the picture settings. The sound however is nothing to brag about no matter what setting you chose. However, I have it hooked up to a home theater system and it sounds awesome! I also couldn't get the audio jacks on the side to work and had to plug in using the headphones jack but there are...

Great 32" LED LCD
From initial startup this set has been excellent providing a great picture in the 32" LED LCD format. Movement from channel to channel is nearly instant (no delay). Compared to LG, Panasonic, Sony, Samsung, and Toshiba the clarity and quality of the picture was right on. My input connection choice is HDMI (choices include 3-HDMIs, IRF/Coaxial, component, composite, and RGB (with PC audio input). The controller is easy to navigate and Vizio's built-in software provides all the flexibility one needs to make quick changes. Sound is surprisingly good for the design (and better if you turn OFF the SRS TruSound HD). The latter would be good in an external speaker system. My system exists in an AT&T U-verse setup and the U-verse hand controller mft code 1018 (found online) works great. Codes provided by U-verse for Vizio (1429, 1433, & 1439) did not work. Using U-verse's 922 for automatic setup worked for everything but the mute button. Again, the code 1018 found online works great...
