Stunning value
Their are mixed reviews on the Rubicon 5.8 but I needed a 5 channel amp to replace my factory Logic 7 amp in my BMW and this one was on special. The Soundstream amp fit nicely under the trunk cover and sounds insane on the stock 10 speaker system (BMW's best). The stock 8" (2 of them) woofers HAMMER off the soundstream and the stock highs and mids sing when set at 100hz and up. It took some time to tune but their is NO engine noise or turn on pop and the detail is insane. To buy this amp at $180 from Amazon is the deal of the century. Their isn't an amp out there you can buy for under $200 that can compete. This amp is worth every bit its $400 retail.My ONLY complaint would be the detail adjustments on the adjustment knobs aren't very useful AND the detail picture from Amazon shows a separate bass adjustment knob that isnt used on the 5.8. I didnt need the knob so no big deal but they shouldn't show it in the pic.If you want a sound quality amp with full system...

Not a bad amp for the money
I got this amp for my boat. I wanted an all-in-one amp that could power all the speakers and my sub. This is currently powering 8 Infinity 5.25" 2 ways on the front 4 channels, and a PPI 12" sub in a 1 cu. ft. enclosure under the rear sun deck. It is not the loudest boat on the lake, but it does a good job for what little money I spent on it. It operates great in the typical 75% humidity 90+ degree KY weather.

So far ! So good !
I bought this particular amplifier because I wanted the simplicity of a single amp installation with 4 speakers and a subwoofer with 5 channels of class A amplification(not class D). So far this seems to power my four Boston accoustic sc95 speakers and g112 subwoofer without issue and pretty nice sound quality.... I'm into sound quality not bassing people out of the car ! I'll update this after further use. I am running it at 4ohms on all four channels. This is in a classic car and i didn't want to overpower or replace the alternator.
