Perfect ALL Metal Pet Gate
We started with this gate and added two of the height extensions. The combination is unbeatable! Our two German Shepherds have eaten and/or jumped every gate we've tried. This gate is ALL steel with the exception of two plastic bushings which are inaccessible to the dogs. This gate beats any of the gates with plastic handles, catches, locks, etc. No more "escapes" from the kitchen; they don't even try anymore.

Great gate - easy to install & use.
We bought two of these to create a safe zone where our 12 month old can run around in our crowded apartment without us having to follow him around everywhere shouting "no". We all love this gate - even my son.It is heavy duty so my 30 pound 12 month old can use it to cruise on or use for balance while he's dancing and it doesn't budge.It's easy to install. It took abot 20 minutes for the first one - until I figured out to mark the holes for the screws then put it in the open position so I could get the electric screw driver into a good angle. The second one took about 10 minutes, but only because my son was climbing all over me while I was installing it.It is very forgiving if you don't use a level and you install it a little crooked because a 12 month old is climbing on you.The open bars allow my son to see what we're doing in the kitchen so he feels like he is with us - but he can't touch the hot stove or climb into the dishwasher...

easy to install
i tried out a lot of gates for top of the stairs.this gate worked the best.it was easy to install,and the best part is the angle mount was great.i didnt even know that both ends of the top of the stairs was not even until i tried this gate.my toddler is tall 34 inches at 18 months! and this gate is tall enough for her.It is not possible for her to open the gate and she tried a lot and gave up.i would recomend this gate to anyone .just one con it is very difficult to open with one hand carrying a child in the other.i have to put her down hold the catch away and then open it.

excellent product
I foster dogs needing homes and bought this gate to create a safe haven room for my cats. I installed it directly into the door frame and, even though the directions said not to, I raised it 8" above the floor. It works like a charm. Easy to lock with one hand but it does take two to open it. Excellent value!

Solid gate
I installed this gate to block our 7 mo old dog on one side of our home. The gate is great, solid metal, so no need to worry about chewing. It installed very easily, including the one-way stop. I would recommend it for babies/dogs, etc. The opening mechanism is fairly simple, but very secure.Two minor notes.-Our doorway is narrow at 29.5" or so (part of the reason we bought this - it fits), but that limits the option of using the height extender accessory. Without that, our dog jumped over it when we weren't home.-The included pressure screws (meant to hold the gate at a certain extension) were in with the tool & wall screws, and not in the gate itself, as the instructions suggested. Not really a problem, but it took a me few minutes to realize it, since the instructions suggested otherwise.
