Just as the shamrock shake returns every year, I’m going to buy a new plant. The beauty of a shamrock plant, something I do love, lasts a long time. Last year, after giving blood, I received a tiny shamrock plant and it flourished. I usually don’t do well with indoor plants. The McDonald’s Shamrock Shake isn’t one of them, but it is such sign of St. Patrick’s Day, I almost want one. So is Celtic jewelry, Irish dancing, bagpipes, corned beef and cabbage and green beer, which is a nice complement to all things Irish.
