Works as intended
bought this to round out my crossfit gym, it's exactly what you want in a plyobox. Light enough to toss around easily but enough ballast to not get knocked over. If this is your price range, this is your box.

Plyometric training refers to any form of exercise that improves speed, movement, strength, and jumping ability. It involves explosive muscle movement such as jumping. Plyometric Boxes include a platform you can jump on to. Placing multiple in a sequence allows you to jump from surface to surface. The Champion Sports Plyometric Box is 24in high and constructed of durable 15 gauge 1in welded tubular steel. It features a 3/4in plywood landing pad with a 1/8in non-skid slip resistant rubber pad. I bought these for use at home and they're really well done.Pros: Insanely sturdyGood qualityStrong WeldsVery AffordableQuick ShippingPriceCons:Can JUST stack the 12" on the 18" safelyCan't stack the 18" on the 24" at allEvery bar was bubble wrapped so you literally had to take bubble wrap off of 8 bars plus the top on each boxSo as you can see, the cons are not really cons at all. They're great boxes and very useful. I used the 12" box for step ups, the 24" for a step on my way down from jumping on the stacked 18" and 12". I ordered a 30" to be more safe and to complete a set from 12 to 30.All in all they're really good boxes but if you're remotely in shape, go for the 18"-30"+ sets!

Fantastic product, very solid.
If you are a home gym person, this is a very good tool. Stairs are no longer given any thought, and my sprint speed has increased measurably in two months of ownership. If you're new to platform jumps, 2' is a lofty goal for high reps, but the 18" is a good starting point, and you won't burn out quick. I'm 5'10" and I have to pay close attention to make sure to clear the vertical; if you don't you will wear the scars of shin bunrs as you slide down. This is not a flaw of the product in any way, but one of clareless approach and bad form.When you land your jumps, make sure to stand fully erect to complete the movement. That will give you full extension of muscles that were constricted for the leap.

Solid Stands!
My wife and I are avid crossfitters and were looking for an economic set of Plyometric Boxes that would meet both our needs. I'm not a small individual and I weigh over 235lbs so we wanted to be sure we purchased boxes that could meet the wear and tear that they would experience over time. These boxes are exactly what we were looking for. They were extremely well packaged and are very solid. They do not flex and will not tip over. We're very happy with these boxes and would definitely recommend them.
