Perfect.
I purchased two sets (1000 bags) of this product. My need is to package sorted board game counters and maintain the current sort. Over 10,000 counters; needing at least 800 to 1000 bags. I have worked through 500+ bags.So far, the quality rate is 100%. That's correct, 100%. Not one single bag out of 500+ has been a failed bag.These bags are very well made, and easy to use. At the top, there is an overlap of the plastic on one side, making the top portion easy to separate. Given that these are soft plastic products, I did flex the zipper part back and forth to break any stick that might have been present. All bags opened just fine with no more than the expected force needed to break the seal. All bags resealed perfectly.I can recommend these bags without reservation.

A lot for the value
I work with electronics a lot and have numerous components.I used to keep them in their original packaging but they ended up taking to much space.Using these bags I reduced my entire inventory of parts down to a single freezer bag instead of several drawers because of the bulky packaging.Note to buyers: These bags are a bit thin and can tear if you try to force the zipper apart.When you open the bag, rather than trying to pull the zipper apart, roll your fingers as if you're trying to "peel" the bag open.After all, the whole function of the zipper is to prevent you from pulling apart. Trying to muscle it apart will only tear it.

Good to measure out suppliments!
I purchased these to measure powered supplements for Pre-workout, Post-workout and bedtime. They made great grab-n-go packets to mix with grape juice. I filled them with Tang, HMB Calcium, Acetyl L-Carnatine, L-Taurine, L-Argaine A-Ketoglutarate (AAKG), L-Gluatime and creatine monohydrate. They were worked perfectly for 90 days (180 packets).I later found a number of other uses (like carrying AAA batteries in Mexico), storing headphones so cords don't tangle, and packaging USB cables. It's surprising how many uses you can come up with if you have these laying round. During an office move, I packaged up most of the lose items (paper clips, pins, etc) from my desk using these. My wife uses them to pack jewelery for vacation trips so necklaces don't tangle and she can sort out sets of things.My MP3 player even fits in one... and I used them to pack 3oz toiletries in my carry-on bags to avoid accidental leakage.I guess the point is... these are...

Fast shipping, great little bags
Zip lock bags exactly as described. I used them to package a lot of costume jewelry (and other small things) for a yard sale. Put the item in the bag, close it, staple it shut and add a price tag. Could be stapled to a board also. Kept earrings together, chains from getting tangled, etc and helped prevent "walking" of items.Update: No need to staple the bag shut (the zipper works fine) unless you are using it for something like I did - a yard sale where items can sometimes walk. Just finished a 3-day yard sale and they worked great for small jewelry items.

Great Bags... same as you get at the supermarket
We ordered these bags as it is starting to get difficult to get plastic bags in California. We do recycle, but if you are like us and have pets and many other uses for reusable plastic bags these are the ones to get. They are the same (maybe even a bit better) plastic bags that you get at the supermarket. In San Jose, CA (and many other cities) they are in the process of outlawing plastic bags and charging 25 cents for paper so it will be interesting to see what happens if we take these bags to the supermarket and asked the bagger to use them. Anyway, I bet a lot of people who have other uses for these bags are going to do the same and order bags as these laws take affect.

A PERFECT BAG FOR MANY THINGS
I'm so glad to find these bags for sale. The price is great and they hold up well. I use them for so many things. From sending friends home with stuff to hanging them up around the house for garbage bags. You can put clothing in them for overnights or to hold flairs in your car trunk. I have begun to use them now like a poke sack when I go picking herbs and mushrooms. You are limited only by your own emagination :)

GREAT party TREAT bags!
I purchased these bags directly from Amazon to use as TREAT BAGS for my son's B-DAY PARTY. I purchased them knowing that the TWIST TIES were NOT INCLUDED. This was not a problem for me, as they were cheaper than equivalent clear treat bags that included the twist ties. They are the PERFECT size and sturdy (as far as party-treat bags go ... none ripped while I was stuffing them). I was able put a couple small/tiny cheap toys and a handful of candy inside, as well as a small "thank you" note (with room left over). Because I had the personal "thank you" note so that it could be read from the outside, I chose to staple the bag closed (much faster!). It was EXACTLY what I needed. Very happy with this inexpensive purchase (especially since Amazon has the 4-for-3 pricing on this item).

No twist ties
Received the bags, just what I wanted, however there were no twist ties to seal the goodies up with. Previous bags I have bought from other suppliers have included the ties. It would have been nice to have known this!

I've been using these for storing powdered supplements. the advantages of these bags is are the zip lock for storing and of course the price. Some supplements I take have a short shelf life, and the potency lowers the longer they are exposed to moisture and oxygen. A paper bag would have to be reused seven times and a cotton bag 327 times for their impact to equal that of a plastic bag reused once. Earlier this year, the United Kingdom’s Environment Agency released a study showing that you would need to reuse a paper bag three times for its global warming impact to be as low as that of one high-density polyethylene (HDPE) plastic carrier bag. When all those costs are taken into account, plastic bags may not be worse than paper or reusable bags. What about biodegradable plastic and starch-plastic bags. One cotton bag would have to be reused 131 times to have the same global warming impact as one HDPE bag. That meant going to the supermarket and buying something that I was going to buy anyway, like a bunch of bananas, in order to get a bag to line my bin with. The real life-cycle cost of a plastic bag must also factor in the transport of that crude oil and gas, the processing of fossil fuels into polypropylene, and transporting the finished product to the city centre. If all HDPE plastic bags are reused once as bin liners, their environmental impact goes down still more. Earlier this week, the Singapore Environment Council proposed that supermarkets, food outlets and provision shops start charging for plastic bags.

Charging for bags may also lead to consumers seeking other sources of free plastic bags. ‘We buy things from them, so rightfully, we should be provided with plastic bags, as much as I would like to save the earth,’ said housewife Sara Sivaganam, 50. ‘People will get over the initial shock of having to pay for plastic bags and start buying them freely. Last year, Singaporeans used about three billion plastic bags, which consume roughly 37 million kg of crude oil and 12 million kg of natural gas. Dairy Farm Singapore, which runs the Cold Storage, Shop N Save and Giant chains, said any move to reduce plastic bag usage should be approached in a pragmatic manner. One way to reduce plastic bag consumption could be for shops that dish them out to customers to start charging. ‘If I charge for plastic bags and others don’t, I will lose business,’ he said. Mr Pat Stuart, an 81-year-old retiree, said: ‘I think it’s not fair to us. we still need plastic bags to throw our rubbish. Plastic bag production in Singapore has been singled out as an environmental worry because of the amount of crude oil it uses.
