An excellent purchase. Inexpensive, does the job without bending. I purchased this to pick up acorns. It does the job well, holds ~100. Turn it on its side to empty. It works well on the lawn and in the gravel drive.

Great for brass pickup
No idea how it does for pecan pickup. But it works great for picking up ammo brass. My new range requires you pick up all spent brass. After two trips picking up brass as long as shooting, I looked for an alternative. This is it. I've only tried it on .45 brass. Works great on that. I'll try it on smaller casings later, so can't comment on that. But if you're a .45 shooter and are required to clean up your brass, this thing is the ticket. The guys at the range loved it. Suspect I'll be seeing more of these next time I go out to shoot. The mfg should be marketing these to gun supply houses as well.JB

A Back Saver
We bought one of these for ourselves to use. The children even had a contest to see how many they could pick up in an allotted amount of time. A great way to get the pecans picked up before the squirrels get them.We also gave one to grandmother who has had back surgery before. This makes it much easier for her to pick up the pecans at her house without the added back strain of bending over.

High and Dry
After purchasing a Canon 40D, 3 lenses and a 580 speedlight - and combining this with my existing two lenses and a Canon 300D camera body and a 420EX speedlight - my canvas and back pack bags were a non-starter.Pelican sells to the US Army - among others - and we've shipped goods that survived fork lift prong holes in the case with Pelican - but not with others. The 1510 can carry all my stuff in waterproof and dust proof protection - fit in an overhead airline bin and have wheels and an extended handle that make dragging it around easier than anything I've tried yet.The model comes without padding - with foam padding you can "pluck" to fit - or my choice - the most costly - padded insert. For space management and reasonable internal protection - this is the way to go. It allows for change of your equipment by simply adjusting the velcro dividers. No wasted space. Everything safe and secure. Pelican will sell you TSA approved locks as an aftermarket choice...

Great way to travel with expensive camera equipment
This is a great Pelican case - small enough to easily store in the overhead compartment while flying, tuff, organized, and portable in airports as a carry on with its wheels and retractable handle for those of us that do not want to check your $10,000 in camera equipment to be tossed around by the baggage handlers. The construction qulaity is amazing. I can fit my 17-40, 100 mm macro, flash, 70-200, 24-70, body with a vertical grip, and still have room for filters, and lots of extra accessories. If you buy the separate lid organizer listed on amazon you will not be able to use the top foam insert which compromises the protection it offers so I would not buy it again. Recommended for any serious photographer!!

Great case but the Amazon stock is older model
I purchased this to hold my photography gear. The case itself is fantastic and I would give it 5 Stars. The issue I have is with the padded dividers. First-of-all the photo of the divider is different from what you get but that is not my main concern: What bothers me is that there is absolutely NO/ZERO padding on the bottom of the dividers. Therefore, if you put your lenses on the dividers your lenses will hit directly against the bottom of the hard case wall. Considering most of my lenses are f/2.8 I was not willing to take this risk so I called Pelican and they had me take photos of the padded dividers and send it to them. The called me back within the same day and told me the padded dividers that I have are a very very old version they used to supply with the 1514 case. Thus, apparently the supply of 1514 cases that Amazon currently has are very old but other than the padded divider rest of the case appears to be identical to the current generation. I was going to return the case...

Nice snack that lasts!
This bar has cranberries, almonds, and macadamia nuts (NOT bits and pieces!) as their main ingredients, in a soft honey-like glaze to keep it all together. I refrigerate them in the summer or they kind of "wilt". The ingredients are fresh, and the nuts are crunchy. What I really appreciate about these bars is that it really takes time to eat and enjoy them. Those nuts are meant to be chewed and not inhaled, unlike a lot of snacks that disappear as soon as you get the wrapper off. I can't eat one in front of my favorite dog, as this is one snack I am too fond of to share with her... much to her dismay. I think they are worth the cost, and I know they cost way more if you find them in a local grocery store.

I was looking forward to receiving this order. Almonds, macadamias, and walnuts! Sounded delicious.Then I tried one, and was puzzled. Yes, I could taste some almond, but WOW, the main flavor was PEANUTS. The ingredients list peanuts as the largest amount of nuts. This should be called the Peanut, Almond Bar. If one likes to have the main flavor of a nut bar as peanuts, you will enjoy this.The quality of KIND products I appreciate, as well as the low GI, the natural properties, and having a healthier choice. But honesty in advertising and product would be appreciated.I was disappointed with the deception, and the unexpectedly strong flavor of peanuts, as I purchased it for the nuts I like best, which were supposed to be the main source of nut protein.Let's get honest KIND!

Duke is King
This is the last nut cracker you will ever need. It's even endorsed by her highness, Martha Stewart.We annually recieve a big bag of black walnuts from friends who have a tree in their yard. They are very good eating, much better than store bought walnuts. However, shelling them is often more trouble than it's worth, as black walnuts are among the toughest nuts to crack.Then we heard about this inexpensive device, so we picked one up, and it works very well. You'll be amazed, it will leave the whole meat intact a high percentage of the time. It adjusts to fit a wide range of nut sizes, and it allows for a great deal of leverage to be applied to the nut being cracked without being unwieldy.The only downside I can see is that is will sometimes send shell fragments flying at high speeds and for long distances. I'd recommend either doing your shelling outside, or using it in the nice box it comes in which will contain most of the projectile shell fragments. You might...

Excellent Nut Cracker
This is an excellent nutcracker for someone who wants to crack pecans or other tree nuts and finds using lightweight nutcrackers tiring or too slow. It could be useful for someone who doesn't have the strong grip needed for hand-held nutcrackers. I bought this nutcracker for my mother who is in her 80s. She loves pecans, but using hand-held nutcrackers was slow and tiring for her. She is very pleased with this nutcracker.

Phone
This may not be the fastest or the "Smartest" of phones but for the price its a great combination of everything. Its not bulky. I dont feel like im holding a book up to my head when im talking. The speakerphone works great. Text messaging is alot easier if you download Thick Buttons app from the market for free.Over all for toughness its survived some pretty hard falls and still has not broken.The battery life with just wifi on and a few programs running is good. It will last all day and part way into the next.Only thing i wish it had was a fold out or pull out QWERTY keyboard. But with the mentioned App it is so much easier for me to type.

The first thing I checked was if the device was unlocked as claimed. It was. I have been using it for about a month now and very satisfied. If you are looking for a high-end fancy Android, this is not it. You may have a better chance with its 500 series product line.

Good for the money
UPDATE: Most of my complaints about the phone have been solved with some research and I am changing my rating from 3 stars to 4. Biggest issue for me is that the flash isn't supported on the phone. A few hints if you buy the phone to save you some time:-When you move the sim from your old phone to this one and access your contacts, they appear to be un-editable. Instead of tapping or double-tapping the contact, press on it instead. In a second or so, a menu will appear with options to edit, delete, etc. Also there is the option to export to PC-sync which I recommend. After you do that, the contact will be in there twice. After syncing your contacts, I'd get rid of the old.-The default language on this is German. That's easy enough to fix in most places but the keyboard app was more obstinate. I took a second tour through the settings and finally found the option for the default language for the keyboard.-Downloaded apps can quickly fill the phones...
