I got this power supply for my husbands pc. We got him a new video carded and needed a bigger supply also the fan was going on his old power supply. I LOVE that it has power connectors for video cards you dont have to use the ones that come in the video card box. I have been building pcs now for many years.coolermaster in the past has made some so so power supplies.this one however seems to be a very good power supply.the build quality is good.has a heavy heat sink and all rails are within .05 volts of stated voltages.lastly the cooling fan is very quite.cooler master has always made great cpu heatsinks/fans,cases,and case fans now it seems they make good power supplies too.I would put this next to a ocz or antec for build quality anyday.great buy..

This thing is incredible!
I had a 700 watt Xtreme gear ATX PSU, and damn I can't tell you how happy I am I made the change.This thing is incredibly QUIET!! And I mean it. very, very, very easy to install. It was my first timeand I feel as if I could build a computer now. Which I am planning on. It was fun taking apart my CyberPower PCand putting this in. The only thing I didn't have to take out was the MoBo. I am incredibly happy with thisPSU. Supports 24 pin and 20 pin MoBo connectors!

I'm happy the Diablo 400W power supply. I had a year old mail server which had become unstable and unusable, and I was about to junk the hardware, but a friend suggested that power supply problems could be the issue. I googled around and ended up ordering the Diablo unit. After replacing the original power supply with the Diablo, the server has been 100% reliable. The Diablo 400W power supply runs quiet and cool, does the job reliably, and was not expensive. what more can I say?

No problems, installed easily, prompt delivery
I ordered this power supply to support an upgrade to a new motherboard with a higher-power CPU. It installed with absolutely no problems, and no issues with fit or alignment in my circa 2001 Compaq Presario. Apparently, power supplies have become completely generic -- there was abosolutely no documentation delivered with the PS, not a data sheet, pin-out drawing or anything. All you have is the limited specs printed on the box.But, as all the plugs are physically differentiated and self-aligning, it's virtually impossible to mess up the installation. Still, it would be nice to have *some* technical information. While the metal framework of the power supply is certainly adequate, it did not measure up to the heavier metal in the OEM Compaq power supply it replaced. But, at the price, this is not a tremendous suprise. AC power cord is included.

Great Power Supply !
Don't listen to the children or those who refuse to accept the facts and want to run a high end grapchics card and do so with a 30$ dollar power supply, then blame the power supply when things don't work rightAlso consider with any power supply it will get louder the more load you put on it as this creates more heat and more heat means the need for more cooling. So if you max it out, dont expect it to run like it would with a basic system using onboard graphics, or a mid to low end card like the product was intended for !For example I am using it with an Ati Radon HD 5570, a Diamond add in PCI sound card, two hard drives and I often have my Zune and Palm Pre Plugged in to it. Great power supply, for budget builds
I don't have high processing demands, but I did buy this power supply for a budget gaming rig I was building, and it works great. There are plenty of power connection options here, so no one will be left out. Plenty of Molex, SATA, +12 for everyone.This unit powers a quad core phenom unit with 500GB HDD and 2GB of RAM. My NVIDIA GT430 1GB DDR3 video card also has plenty of juice as well.If you are looking for a good budget power supply, this is the one for you!Cooler Master also sells a case with an included 420watt power supply on Amazon as well. You can save 10-20 bucks if you go that route, but you lose 40 watts of POWER!

Great price, working well, some short cords
I just installed this power supply into a machine to replace an old supply today. Everything seems to be in working order, and the supply is *very* quiet compared to my old one. Running at peak power loads the unit is functioning well.Two things to note though: 1) There are no small 4-pin hook ups included, which are used to power extra cooling fans (among other low power draws). You can separately buy adapters, or if this is a replacement, you can cannibalize them from the old unit. 2) The PCI-E power cord for a graphics card was pretty short. On my Abit ATX motherboard with an NVidia 8800, the cord is stretched tight to reach the socket. Some case configurations may need an extension for the cord to reach all the way.

A power supply is just a power supply?
First off, the description of the power supply was very misleading. I am not a tech by any means, but when it said it has 5 SATA connectors, I wasn't sure if it had the standard IDE connectors (the 4 pin periphials) as well. I bought it on faith that no power supply could just have SATA and the gambit paid off. It has plenty of SATA and 4 pins (five of each).I would like to say that a power supply is just a power supply, but the one I was replacing was a Dynex 500 watt power supply. When I first got it at Best Buy I thought this was awesome, a 500 watt power supply! Two months later I had to replace it because it burnt out. A year later and that one burnt out too...this time with sparks flaring out of the back of my rig. Of course I couldn't find a power supply locally that was 500 watts, so I turned to trusty Amazon.Right as soon as I opened it you could tell the quality difference. The old one I had could have been manufactured in the 1970's it looked...

For the ultra-low price of 30 dollars, this 600 watt PSU is bang for the buck. Other 600 watt PSUs cost around $70 or $80.It includes tons of connectors (too much for some people), and it has two fans.The fans are a little loud in the first couple weeks you use the PSU, but it gets quieter after a period of time; I don't know if the fans are breaking-in (not "breaking") or my ears are adjusting to it.The power supply is working great for being 4 months since I have purchased it.I am using this with an AMD Radeon HD6850 and it is performing well.I play Crysis, Battlefield Bad Company 2, Bulletstorm, and Grand Theft Auto IV on high settings and the PSU performs without a hitch.I was also running extremely intensive GPU tests with FurMark and Unigine Heaven(for GPU overclocking) and the PSU still delivered.This PSU is also powering 4 hard drives (two 3.5 inch and three 2.5 inch drives), 3 fans, a Wifi...

Amazing for the price
A $30.00 600W power supply? Must be junk, right?Well, I took a chance, because I was low on cash, and I've just installed it. My graphics card requires two six-pin connectors, and this PSU provided 2x2, so I've got juice for SLI if my motherboard had room. The fan is whisper quiet (I don't know if the free shock absorber is having any effect, but I'm not taking it off) and the molex connectors are as slick as I've seen.Plenty of molex and sata connectors, and the cables are plenty long for my desktop tower, might be a little short for a server.Still - at $30.00? Unbelievable. If it fails in a week, I'll update this review, otherwise it's a great buy.
