Tablet PC Hits the Spot
The affordable tablet PC hits its stride with HP's TM2. It's no iPad killer since it's heavier and more expensive. But if you want a real computer underneath a bright, responsive tablet touch screen - and for a reasonable price - this is it. Good processor, long-lasting battery, comfortable keyboard, generous storage, and all the basic ports - it make for a nice combination of utility and fun.

Great Convertible Tablet
First: My review is for a slightly different configuration of the tm2t. I have the upgraded processor, Core 2 Duo SU9600 (1.60GHz, 800MHz FSB) w/512MB ATI Mobility Radeon(TM) HD 4550 Graphics, and the 500 GB HDD. I've had it for a week now and the short of it is: I love it. I'd give it 4.5/5 stars if Amazon would let me. I rounded down to 4 stars as there are a few nitpicky things keeping it from perfect.Second: I love tablets. My previous laptop was a Toshiba R15, but it was getting a little old and the battery was dying, so it was time to look around for another. So why not wait for the glut of slate tablets this year, such as the ipad or HP Slate? Well, I love being able to hand-write notes, draw and sketch, and yet still type for a variety of projects I use the laptop for. I love Microsoft OneNote (one of the few programs they really got right), and I'm not sure how well it would run (if at all, like on the ipad) on the slates, and I don't mind navigating with a stylus...

Great Student Tablet
I am typing this on the exact configuratin here -- the 1070us -- with the 4 gigs, the 7300 processor, and the low end intel graphics (with the 320 gig, 7200 rpm hard drive).Where the reviewer is coming from: I've had a lot of tablets -- primarily toshiba -- including the 3500 and M200 and M4 -- so I have a good frame on what tablets can and can't accomplish. I place a high value on being able to use my tablet for note taking and as electronic paper. I'm willing to carry an extra lb or two for the features I need to do this. What's wrong with this machine is immediately obvious. It is 4.7 lbs, it has a low power processor which doesn't scream, and it has intel graphics. The screen, while quite lovely, is not glass (which, if you're carrying it everywhere, is not actually a bad thing). It lacks some of the nifty features of my macbook, like a backlit keyboard. But...I still love this thing. Here's why.It is cool (and quiet). Every tablet I've...

Photo now nearly matches the product
The Dr. Tech TM-1500 is a big, strong, heavy, 1000 watt blender that will take up about 7.5" x 8.5" worth of real estate on the kitchen counter. The size does not match what is printed on the outside of the box in which the blender arrived (435x305x345mm) but it still dwarfed my old Hamilton Beach Blender. The red faced front of the blender is also printed with the words "Drink Machine" and "High Performance Commercial Blender." It comes with a 2 liter carafe, with built in blender blades that do not detach from the container, and a tamper tool to assist in tamping blended material back down into the blades. The plastic container is marked on one side in milliliters, up to 2 liters and on the other side in cups, up to 8 1/2 cups. It looks very much like the expensive American Vitamix Turbo Blend except the Dr. Tech is made in China and costs about 75% less. I've never used the Vitamix, so I can't compare the two on the level of function, but the Dr. Tech is more powerful than any...

A cheap product for a cheap price
This is a typical Chinese product. It's cheap in all senses of the word - cheaply made, cheaply priced, cheap quality. The instruction booklet is written in charmingly ungrammatical Chinglish. The bright red color and the graphics are awkward and not "designer". If you are the kind of person who wants her appliances to look good on a granite countertop, this is not for you.The dimensions given I'm guessing are of the box, not the blender. But it's big, much bigger than a normal household blender. Imagine a normal blender blown up maybe 1/3 more in all directions. It will NOT fit under most cabinets. It is very loud. If a regular blender is a family sedan, and a Vitamix is a Mercedes, then this is more like a garden tractor - big, loud, crude, ugly but able to get the job done. The blades do detach, in the same way as on a Vitamix. There's a large slotted metal retainer nut on the underside of the container. If you turn it counterclockwise, it will unscrew...

PRINT - SCAN - COPY - WEB
This little marvel is a great all-in-one, intended for home use or light office work. I particularly like the automatic 2-sided printing, a feature I never had before. The user friendly touchscreen is an excellent size while the pull out paper tray provides ease of loading. The 6510 has a 12" x 17" footprint although the loading tray, closed, protrudes another 2.5" in the front. The printed page returns to you also in the front. This frees up the rear enabling use of the machine with its back against a wall, a necessary space saver in my situation: My unit is perched on a 12" x 24" wall shelf, out of the way, wireless and ready to run.The 6510 has no automatic feeder. I mention this mainly to lighten my load, for surely I find it a much simpler task enumerating what it DOESN'T have rather than what it DOES have. HP has other models that do have automatic feeders. Besides an automatic feeder there is nothing lacking here. The 6510 produces exquisite,...

Photosmart 6510 is Sweet!
Printers come and printers go ... we are a disposable society--true. The price is right for this printer and I encourage anyone who has something older to step it up a notch with all the bells and whistles newer printers--like this All-In-One; print, scan, and copy--have to offer. I looked at Epson, an excellent workhorse and I have one that prints CD's; at Canon which looks nifty but didn't have the envelope printing capability, and ultimately went again with HP. This one uses fewer ink cartridges even for slick multicolored photographs on glossy paper. HP has dropped the Photo-black on this model. The nifty touchscreen is shaped like an iPhone, which I find curious and even has a slide show on how to do setup and load the paper tray which (HOORAY!) slides out for easier loading. The only difference I encountered was in initiating a scan ... toss the old HP Scan Pro and click directly on the new HP Scan 3 from your desktop or laptop. It brings up a more user-friendly window to...

Awesome printer at an awesome price
Printer does everything I need it to do. Only took half hour to set up including wireless printing to my iPad. Photo printing was so easy if you have the paper in there and go to print a pic it automatically uses the printer paper. Finally a printer that is easy to use with my iPad.

Solves the slow response problem - Kindle Fire
Received my Kindle Fire yesterday and immediately fell in love with it. However, I noticed, and as others have commented on, a seemingly sluggish response at times of the screen to finger movements. The JKase Capacitive Stylus arrived today, and has eliminated the sluggish response of the Fire to my finger movements. The stylus has a soft rubber tip that protects the screen when being used. Other components of the stylus are metal with a nice finish. If you have a Fire, you need one of these!

Product Description

While capacitive touch screens are great, one flaw is the inability to use a stylus. Not anymore! JKase's Capacitive Stylus allows you to use your touchscreen devices without ever touching the screen with your finger. Perfect for the ladies out there who have their nails done, or for those who don't want to take their gloves off during a cold day. The Capacitive Stylus is conveniently sized, and designed like a pen to fit just about anywhere. Top to learn more

Works, great value.
I'm pleased with this item - especially at the low price I was able to get it at. It seems sturdy enough and it works. My only recommendation is I wish the tip was smaller and less wide.

One other plus: the graphics actually switch between low and high power states, depending if the laptop is plugged in. Basically this means for things like Everquest you’re going to want to be plugged in, but it allows you to save battery life... Yes, the settings are turned down to medium and it can run a bit choppy at times (I average around 15 fps, and if that seems low, bear in mind EQ2 demands a lot more than World of Warcraft, I’m sure WoW would run at ~30 fps), but it runs, and I... Yes, you can get docks for the slates that let you type, but they seem clunky so far and I always liked having the convertible so the keyboard is always with you, and truth be told, I do spend more time in notebook mode than in tablet mode, but I... I’m able to play Everquest 2 on it, which is a very graphics-demanding application (I couldn’t run it at all on my Toshiba, and I’m sure the default GMA 4500 Graphics accelerator would probably do the same). I didn’t even see this advertised, but I thought it was a neat little additional feature, and I didn’t notice any noticeable drop in graphics quality when in low-power mode (although EQ2 dropped to about 5-8 fps). I love Microsoft OneNote (one of the few programs they really got right), and I’m not sure how well it would run (if at all, like on the ipad) on the slates, and I don’t mind navigating with a stylus (sometime I even prefer it). Mostly, though, I... So why not wait for the glut of slate tablets this year, such as the ipad or HP Slate. If you want to be able to play some higher-end games on a tablet, this is the one you want. Graphics: One of the main selling points for me was the option for the discrete graphics.

I have been wanting this hp touchsmart for years and finally decided to break down and just buy it. I was waiting to see if they would make one with a larger touch screen then decided that a larger one would not be pratical. But the tm2 also comes with a pen mouse which is *very* accurate. I’ve had my HP tm2t (2100) for eight months now and love it. I really vacillated between getting an iPad and the HP. The tm2t beats the Apple hands down. You don’t even need to physically touch the screen–it responds when the pen gets within an inch of the surface. Battery life is great–I get 6 to 8 hours easily with screen at 2/3 bright (which is all you need unless you’re outside). I bought this laptop because my other laptop doesnt work all the time. The touch screen is incredibly laggy and unresponsive, often actions must be repeated 2-4 times. In some motels it would work but in most it wouldn’t, both the Windows and quick-boot modes. If you want the ability to hand write things and draw or make graphs I would recommend this computer. Works both with Windows and with a quick-boot ROM-based OS that gives you the minimum browser and such. It finds the network fine, shows good signal strength, but fails to connect to it. I think it’s Windows’ fault, not the hardware’s.
