This works great for my HP G60. Why pay more!
I was skeptical with this being $15 cheaper than others but it works fine. I got a second one for work. Now I have one for work and home offices that I don't have to unplug. I keep the original in my laptop case for the road.Only thing to be aware of is the cord is slightly shorter than original. It is not too short by any means but it is shorter by a foot or so. So if you need this for a lengthy reach then make sure you get an extension cord or buy something else.Hope this helps!

Good charger for the price
I purchased the product because my original HP adapter completely gave up on me. After reading most of the reviews, I was worried that this would be a waste of money, however, after about a month of use, my charger seems to be holding up fine.The reason I gave this product 4 stars instead of a 5 is because of two reasons. First, the cord provided (that goes into the outlet) is very short. It's probably about half the length of the original outlet cord. If you have an extension cord then this is no problem, however, it was a minor inconvenience. Secondly, the charger end of the cord isn't an exact fit. It had to be pushed/forced into the laptop and didn't really stay in as it should have. This is actually getting better after repeated use, but it was pretty hard to push in when I first bought it.All in all, the product gets the job done and is worth the money spent. No Problems Here
I previously spent $40 on a universal charger that has the interchangeable tips, the tips always broke off and it was a pain. I recently bought this because it was cheap and being frustrated with my other one I figured why not. I have the HP Pavilion dv6500 and it fits perfectly. The cord length is also long enough, that was another problem I had with my universal charger. I've only had this for about a week, but so far no problems or complaints!

Adapter for HP G71 Pavillion
It actually came a day before it was due. I ordered it before I read a review about checking the picture to make it matches what you already have. It doesn't look exactly the same but it does fit and it does work. Make sure you check your shipping fees.This price (under $10) definitely beats the $75 HP wanted me to pay!

Not the right wattage
My wife's laptop is a HP G61 and it accepts this power supply as a valid HP power supply. However, the HP utility that monitors power input continually pops up the alert: "The power supply's output is too low for this computer." It works, but either this power supply's output is too low or the required unit is 90W. I assumed that since it is listed as replacement for the G61 that it would be the correct wattage. What do you want for 7 bucks, right?

Love the Price!
Since I only paid $300 for my laptop, I was not thrilled with the prices I was finding for a replacement charger. I was very excited to find one for such a low price at Amazon. This charger works perfect and I am not out almost a third of what I originally paid for my laptop!! The part that went bad on mine was the end that plugs into the laptop, so I was able to keep the original power cord since the one that does come with it is short.

Works good
My concern with buying an aftermarket charger was that it would damage my battery life... Many months later it hasn't done a single bad thing to my battery. This is a great alternative!

Overheats & short cable
It works... that's about all I can really say about it.However...It overheats if its charging an empty/partially drained battery. But if it's just powering a fully charged battery, it's ok. Otherwise, it can literally burn your hand. It got to the point of letting off a melting plastic smell. Not what I would call safe.As for the cables, extremely short. Keep your old cable that plugs into the outlet. Even the adapter end cable is still really short compared to the OEM version.And DO NOT TRUST THE PICTURE!!! What you see is NOT what you get. Mine is double the size of what's shown, flimsy plastic construction, weak. It works... that's what I can say. Everything else is just plain bad.

Not Quite What was Advertised...
Honestly, the product is working just fine. However, I have to say there's a bit of false advertisement here, whether it is an accident or some weird mix up. The product page specifies a 90w, 19v 4.74amps power supply. What I got was rated 65w, 18.75v 3.5amp.Amazon, tell the guy selling this to fix their ad. Sure it works, but if my computer were to ever use up that 65w, then it'll be random shutdown time. I'll be keeping a close eye on this. Expect a follow up...
