Works Great
Bought this for my wife's kindergarteners (their school just so happens to be 30/1) and it worked out really well. None of the tubes were dried out and they seemed to wear well. The kids used the glue for traditional projects and everyone said it held up very well. Useful stuff that has made my life easier.
I use these glue sticks myself and always have quite a number of them around for various needs and projects. My use of them is not what makes this product so great though. I have a slew of nieces and nephews that constantly invade my homes and as I am the single sister (translate that to "free child care specialist") I have been appointed the adult (that is a laugh) to house break the little critters.I found out very quickly that nothing made my sisters, and sister-in-laws madder than to send their precious little urchins home to them with glue, dirt, grime and "stuff" all over their pretentious little designer clothing. I was constantly in trouble I can tell you! Well, I solved one of my many problems in this area by purchasing these nifty little glue sticks.I always have projects ready for the little twerps when they show up; many of which require a lot of cutting, drawing and pasting. I was forever desperately washing clothing trying to remove glue...

Good value
I like using these for school projects, scrapbooking, and most other paper projects. Sticky, not wet, so you don't have to worry about bleed-thru, even on regular notebook paper. They're so economical that you barely notice when one goes missing. This was advertised as a pack of 6, but I was lucky to get a bonus pack with 2 extra! They are non-toxic and washable which make them great for younger children.

I am rubber, you are glue
This glue stick works better than any other glue stick I've tried. It can get a bit messy and runs out pretty fast, but they are secondary concerns. It does its primary job very well, which is to stick stuff to other stuff.I've also used the purple version of this glue stick and they seem to do about the same job.

Great Value And Works Great!
I remember using Elmer brand glue sticks back in elementary school, and still find myself using a stick every now and then. The purple color is nice, since it allows you to see where you applied the sticky and when it dries it disappears. I admit, this particular glue stick isn't the strongest, but it holds well enough on paper. As for dryness, I find these sticks to last quite a awhile before it dries out as opposed to the cheaper glue sticks you would typically find at a discount store. I personally find Avery brand glue sticks to be slightly better because they are more sticky and hold stronger. Overall, for the price I got it for, which was on sale for $1 at the time, this item is a definite buy if needed. Top to learn more

Hard to Find, Decent Price
The schools always ask for these jumbo glue sticks, but they're really hard to find at a good price, (they're usually at least $1.50 a piece). I usually end up sending in a bunch of small glue sticks, but my son complains that he goes through them more quickly than his friends with the jumbos. This 3 pack is a good deal, (with Amazon Prime), and I won't have to buy the mega pack at Staples, nor hunt around.I only gave it 4 stars because I find that all glue sticks fail to hold very well, and these are no exception. That said, it's a pretty basic school supply and I'm buying! Top to learn more

I decided that I was not going to buy the class any more glue sticks unless the glue was on sale. She asked if I would buy some glue sticks. Back in December, Holly had the same request and I sent in twelve glue sticks, figuring that would solve the problem. After thinking over Holly’s request, I started to wonder if any other parent had sent in glue sticks. Holly has not mentioned glue sticks since then. I wrote “glue sticks” on my list.
The eggs were up-cycled and I already had the glue sticks and glue gun. I needed to do something with last year’s eggs since my sly boys would know if the bunny recycled them Uncle Dave and environmentalists may be proud…but…I think if you’d really want it to look PERDY, buy the same sized eggs. I did buy the Oh-So-Tacky Easter grass for $1 at Michaels as well.
Now I have an overpriced glue gun with no glue and two kinds of wire that I don’t need, and everyone in town is curious about what the heck I’m doing with a glue gun. Actually, to be totally factual, there are three glue guns, but no glue-gun sticks. I would not be surprised if every store I went to now orders a glue gun and glue sticks, which will sit until some other desperate person hits the jackpot. My first stop was Home Hardware, where I was informed that they had sold their one and only glue gun after wondering for a very long time if anyone would buy it. As for the wire, an acquaintance who works at the store sold me a giant spool of... He showed me their selection—three of the same gun—and informed me they didn’t stock glue-gun sticks. There were a few things I needed that I thought I might be able to check off my “to buy” list without having to drive to the city—a glue gun and thin wire. There’s one more hardware store in town and it was on my way home, so I stopped in and asked if they sold glue guns, already knowing the answer would be no. The clerk looked really confused, thought about it for a while, then told me they had sold... The Bargain Shop, lo and behold, had no glue-gun sticks but offered the Northern Store as a possibility. I made one last-ditch effort at the grocery store, but there was nary a glue-gun stick to be found. There, surprise, I did not find glue-gun sticks. i have too many glue sticks… would love to send you a bunch.
