Water Tastes Good
It is hard to write a review for a water filter. How does one comment on whether or not the filter is actually performing as promised? Unless one sends a water sample to a lab, it is impossible to know if the filter is actually removing debris and other contaminants from the water.So, the only way I know how to review this water filter is to provide feedback on the taste of the water and the clarity/looks of the water.The water that comes through this filter looks crystal clear and tastes very good. The water from this filter certainly tastes much much better than tap water.I hope this helps! Good luck!

Works great but it's covered under warranty
If you are reading this, odds are your GE Profile fridge is quite warm on a Sunday night. You are desperately trying to figure out what's wrong. This board may solve your problems. It is a recalled part so you may be able to get it from GE for free. After what we went through, I hope amazon leaves this review up as a service to their customers. In return, the customers can spend their money on other amazon items.The problem was as follows. We have a GE Profile fridge, Model PSC23NGSA (from 2005) with the vertical side by side doors. (I think these are called "French doors".) Neither the fridge or the freezer was staying cool. The fridge was making a clickingsound. Opening the doors, the display on the front was flashing "HRS".We did some basic troubleshooting. Put the food into coolers to try and save it as well as clear the vents. We unplugged and plugged the fridge back in. We made sure it was not in demo mode. The thermostat had been...

My 2 year old bottom freezer refrigerator started to have the classic symptoms, not always cooling, one second clicking sound when not cooling. Some times the refrigerator cooled but not the freezer part. Sometimes neither part cooled while the fridge started to click. (Clicking is from relay noise).I ordered this universal board for my fridge from Amazon.com. I took advantage of the FREE shipping. It arrived quickly in a timely fashion. It was a sealed GE factory board and not a brand X board. First class! The board came with clear instructions to be used for your particular refrigerator.In my case, I removed the small rear panel on the back side of the fridge to expose the board. You then unplug the fridge, pull out the connector plugs from the board, remove the ground wire under a screw, remove the board off of 4 plastic standoff spacers, install the new board onto the spacers and then plug in all the wire connectors onto the new board. Those are genuine second-generation eneloop cells - as far as I can tell
I have done extensive testing on the since early 2007, shortly after they were introduced in the US. I have also tested the blue second-generation eneloop cells from the back in 2010. But this is the first time I have seen second-gen eneloop in white wrappings being sold in the US. Eneloops do the job.
I put two Eneloop AA batteries into my Kodak Easyshare C182 digital camera. I took flash photos one after another, in order to drain the batteries. I counted 250 photos before the low-battery warning automatically shut off the camera. That's a pretty good number of photos from one set of batteries. I'd never have gotten anywhere near that many with alkalines. And you can recharge these Eneloops up to 1500 times, so maybe one set of Eneloop AA batteries will let me take, eventually, more than 350,000 photos. If I take 20 photos each day, then two batteries would let me take photos for about 48 years. Four would suffice for a lifetime. The camera will wear out before the batteries do. I bought 32 of them, just in case there are other things that need AA batteries, also. And I bought 28 AAA size Eneloop batteries, too.

Still the best AA NiMh Rechargeable out there.
I'm pretty sure I've reviewed these Eneloop batteries before but I use them so much and like them so much - I think they deserve another 5-star review!I'm not sure what's NEW about these batteries, but they seem to be just as good as the previous Eneloops.First, I've got about two dozen of these batteries in daily use. I've Never had one fail to take a charge and I'm sure I've cycled some of these well over 250 times.I use them in remote controls, professional Nikon flash units, high powered LED flashlights (like the Fenix TK-40 which uses 8 AA cells) and many other applications.I only charge them with this charger: Maha PowerEx MH-C808M Ultimate Professional Charger - available on Amazon. This model charges AAA, C, And D batteries as well. There is an AA-only model for a little less.I think the charger is the key to long life. Some chargers keep charging or charge at such a high rate that they batteries overheat and...

Closest to HID by far
I picked these up in Canada but it looks like they are now available in the US from Amazon. I was a bit skeptical because I have been trying to find a replacement bulb that replicates or comes close to HID Xenon for my '04 Touareg (I neglected to tick that option box when I bought it). Finally after trying three different brands and styles I have found the winner. I compared the HID lighting in my Audi to the Nighthawk Platinum and one would be hard pressed to tell the difference. It's also very noticeable in nighttime driving, I can see much better on the back country roads and it has given me more confidence when I do have to be out in the dark. A great product that's worth the $.Just keep in mind that when it comes to halogen bulbs the brighter they are, the hotter they burn and the quicker they burn out. If you have daytime running lights that utilize your headlamps don't expect to get much more than a year out of these (or any similar product such as the Silverstar)...

The only decent bulb for 9004, well worth the price
OK, everybody with a car that takes 9004 headlights know how horrible the design is. The low-beam is only 45 watts, focused basically like a cheap flood light only worse. Finally, there is a good bulb in 9004: the GE Nighthawk Platinum. It is the only +90 sold in the US, and the only one for 9004. (It is also available in almost every bulb type except sealed beams). As the 9004 was US-only, most of the good European bulbs (Osram Silverstar and Nightbreaker, Philips Xtreme Power, etc) are not available in 9004.No longer sold anywhere except Amazon (Wal-Mart used to sell them but they no longer carry this awesome bulb). The price is comparable to the Sylvania Silverstar, and cheaper than the Silverstar Ultra (which are both "faker" blue-tinted overpriced junk). Most "bright" and "white" bulbs cheat their way to white light by dipping their bulb in blue paint--it "looks" whiter but the blue filter really robs much of the light, and visibility is actually *decreased*. Better than OEM lights
Just replaced the high (9005) and low (9006) on my '03 4Runner. Installation took about 10 minutes. These lights are brighter than the OEM bulbs. The light is a bit whiter but not like the HID bulbs on my other car. If these bulbs weren't on sale, I probably would have gone with the HID upgrade for a few dollars more.When you put these in make sure not to touch the glass part of the bulb. Other than that; installation is simple:* Twist out the bulb assembly by turning 1/4* Release the retaining latch to remove the bulb* Replace the bulb* Insert the bulb assembly and lock in place turning 1/4If they don't last; I'll post an update.
