Wow!
I confess that these were my first-ever flannel sheets. I was always afraid that they would pill and be uncomfortable. Boy, was I wrong! These are wonderful, soft, quality sheets that make me look forward to going to bed at night and it even harder to get out in the morning. They seemed a little expensive at $59.00 but I didn't think I'd get quality at any less expense. Now they are ten dollars less. I recommend you snap up this deal if you are looking for flannel sheets! You won't be disappointed! I'd give these 10 stars if I could!Update: After the second winter season of using these, they are still as soft (if not softer) as they were when new. They haven't pilled or thinned anywhere and the seams and elastic are intact and like new. I can't say enough positive things about these sheets. I've purchased sets for gifts and a second set to use when these become worn, in case they were no longer available. If you're looking for flannel sheets, give these a try...

Unbelievable comfort and warmth
I bought the taupe set and washed them first. I knew as soon as I checked the dryer that these were different than any others that I have had. With all of my past sets of flannel sheets, I had to continuously empty the lint filter during the drying process. With this set, this was not the case. There was some lint, but very little. Also, there has been no pilling.When I first climbed into bed, it was like slipping into a comforting hug. I have never before had flannel this thick, this soft and this warm. Not even department store name brands can compare to these. And in response to the one complaint that the fitted sheet did not really fit their mattress, I completely disagree. My mattress is 17", then I have a 600 thread count extremely plush mattress pad on top that brings it up at least another inch. These sheets still went on easily and the corners still tucked under the way that they are supposed to. At this price, I am ordering a set of the butter ones...

Great, soft sheets
It's getting cold and we needed new flannel sheets, so gave these a try. They are very soft, just right for warmth, and after several washings have not pilled or become rough. They are just great. I've told a few people about them and am thinking about giving a few sets as holiday gifts.

The Best Ever
While looking for new flannel sheets, the print on these caught my eye, and at $40 for a set of California King sheets, I figured it would be worth the gamble. The print goes across the bed rather than lengthwise, which was a surprise, but the overall look is very homey and cozy.I was concerned that the sheets would shrink considerably after the first wash and dry - but no. In fact, they softened up beautifully and fit the large mattress perfectly. The flannel used in these sheets is excellent quality and left very little lint in the dryer screen. This is definitely a best buy.

Nice sheets, excellent value
I was a bit worried after reading the reviews for these sheets and other 160 gram flannel sheets by Pinzon, where the mostly positive comments were offset by a few very critical reactions. How could one person think they were the softest sheets ever, while another person thought they felt like paper? I decided to go ahead and try them myself, and I'm happy to report that I'm very pleased with the purchase. I washed the sheets before the first use, as I do with all bedding, flannel or otherwise. I didn't notice any pilling or defects. In fact, the sheets are extremely soft. I have some flannel sheets from Eddie Bauer Home that are a little bit heavier, but these sheets are still quite warm and very comfortable. So far, I have no complaints.

great sheets and value
Just purchased these sheets, washed (easy care setting) them right away and they came out beautifully. I also have the 200 gram (I believe) Pinzon supima flannel which I purchased last year and right out of the packaging these feel just as good. Maybe a slight difference but still very soft and the sizing/corners are generous making changing the sheets an easy job. I have a thick mattress with a featherbed and these sheets cover easily with good elastic. I would definitly recommend them. FYI, I got the color "sky" and it is not blue as I would have thought, it is more of a light lavendar, which is OK, just not what I anticipated.

super soft!!
I hadn't bought flannel sheets in over 10 years as I am relatively a hot sleeper. This year I thought I would save in my heating bill by purchasing some flannel sheets. super soft and warm sheets well worth the price
I bought these sheets for my and my boyfriend's bed because he had previously had some jersey material sheets that were literally falling apart. all the jersey sheets I found were way out of my price range so I took a gamble on these flannel sheets - I say a gamble because I usually like to feel my sheets before buying them. What I can say is that I was DEFINITELY NOT disappointed. Normally, I DO NOT like sleeping under sheets at all, and we had normally just tucked the sheets entirely around the mattress and just slept on top of the sheets. Until we put these on the bed. I LOVE sleeping under the sheets now, I just recently ordered two more sets because the idea of replacing the bedding with our old sheets makes me super unhappy. They are VERY soft and warm, but still light enough that I don't get too hot while sleeping. I am cold natured and I feel like it is just enough extra heat when I use an extra blanket on top, while my boyfriend is hot natured and likes to sleep with...

Very Cozy Sheets!
I wasn't too sure I would like flannel sheets as I don't want to be too hot when I sleep however, these are just so incredibly soft! They are warm but not too too hot. They don't even feel like "flannel" that I remember from the old days. The softness is GREAT and makes you really feel like you don't want to get out of bed in the morning! I have a regular Beautyrest mattress with a removable mattress topper and I liked the fact that I did not have to break a sweat getting the fitted sheet on the mattress. They also stay put just fine, not to loose either. I ordered the matching duvet cover also and am pleased with everything. Washed on cold, medium to dry, and did have to empty the lint filter three times during the drying cycle. These are heavenly and the price is just icing on the cake. A good night's sleep is priceless anyway! Amazon's delivery time is unbelievably fast. I ordered on a Monday and received on a Thursday, the same week. I highly recommend this sheet set...

flannel sheets
these sheets are so soft. some flannel sheets you have to wash a few times before they are soft and usable, well these are soft when you take them out of the package. they stay on the mattress well also, they have good elastic to hold them around the edges, wont pop off. i would recommend them.

"Thin" Flannel Sheets
I got these sheets due to the reviews here on Amazon seemed to be pretty good. Now don't get me wrong as these sheets are OK and ok enough I am not sending them back. If there is such a thing s an expert on flannel sheets then I may just be one (ok so i wanted to be expert at something). I never have a blanket or anything like that and have always had flannel sheets summer or winter as they are light enough to lay on top of me but heavy enough to keep me warm. Most of my previous flannel sheets are heavier than these seem to be. My first impression of them from first week of sleeping with them is that they won't be enough for the winter time. That being said they are as comfortable as any of my other sheets and if you are just wanting comfort then these are not bad.
