Great product
The product arrived clear which means it's fresh (vitamin C is not oxidized yet), and it is watery in consistency which makes me believe that it does contain 20% as claimed. It is hard to apply due to the consistency, but the benefits (smoother, firmer skin) are more noticeable and show up quicker compared to other vitamin C serums I've tried, and it didn't break me out. Will definitely repurchase.

i liked it, but didn't know what to expect
well i kept reading about the fabulous effects of topical vit C+E Fe acid. i wouldn't have spent the $100s of the popular name brand so i found this less expensive yet similar product and tried it. I didn't know what to expect since I've never tried the expensive ones before. And honestly couldn't understand why this one could be so much cheaper and still be effectively comparable to the others. So i was doubtful.My experience was surprisingly positive. It came in a nice sized dark blue glass bottle. The liquid was clear, and orderless and seemed fresh to me. One major problem i had though, it didn't have any instructions or even suggestions on it's purpose. Now i understand the the items specifics on this website has brief directions and a description, but i was forced to come back to this web page once it received the bottle to remind me what to do with it. I'm suffering from melasma on my upper lip and it looks like a mustache!! It's the worst problem I've ever had with...

Excellent product
I purchased this CE Ferulic serum by mistake, thinking I was getting a low price on Skinceuticals CE Ferulic serum, which I had purchased before and liked. When this came, I realized it wasn't the same. I almost sent it back but I decided I'd give it a try. I am SO HAPPY I did! It works just as well as the Skinceuticals serum PLUS it applies easier and smells better. I apply it at night and my face is velvety smooth in the morning. It evens my skin tone and softens my wrinkles. I'm very, very satisfied with this product and recommend it. This is a first-rate skin treatment for a very reasonable price.

High quality low cost
My esthetician recommended me using Skinceuticals C E Ferulic serum on my face along with the treatment I was undergoing. The Skinceuticals product costs more than three times as much as Cosmetic Skin Solutions C E Ferulic serum. I did a comparison of the ingredients, which were identical to the higher priced Skinceuticals. So I bought it, and am so glad. Most importantly, it is working just like the higher priced serum, even better. This serum goes on smoothly and it's like giving my thirsty face a drink. Suddenly my skin is soothed and smooth, and my skin is nicely prepped for make-up, although lately I find I don't need to wear make-up because my skin is looking so good without it. Almost identical to skinceuticals
This product is almost identical to skinceuticals ce ferulic. I found this more watery in consistency. I would be really interested in knowing what the PH of this product is ? The skinceuticals is formulated at PH 3. A vitamin c serum must be formulated at a PH lower than 3.5 or it simply sits ON the skin, and doesn't enter the skin cell which is where the healing and protection takes place.

Move over Skinceuticals...
My dermatologist suggested I use a 15 or 20 percent vitamin C solution on my skin daily. While researching product, I nearly fainted from the price point. The well known products are expensive (and quite frankly, they smell FUNKY!). This little California company had good product reviews all over the net, so I took the plunge because of those reviews and the price. While I've only been using it a little while, I have had no adverse reaction (I have sensitive skin) other than a slight reddening of the skin when I apply the product that fades to normal in less than a minute. I do see an overall improvement in the general appearance of my facial skin (which is the point, right?) that I expect will progress with continued use. The best part? Although it does have an odor, it is slight and disappates quickly. This is SO much better than my experience sampling similar products from the major players. I wasn't really sure this product would amount to much after being let down by so many other Vitamin C serums on the market. But given the affordable price, I decided to give it a try. Well...it's only been four days since I've started using it, but in short I am extremely happy with it. First, I love that it isn't watery thin like many other vit c serums, which can dry out my skin. It feels hydrating, but not oily or thick at all. But most important, it has given my skin a glow that I haven't seen in a very long time. Just a few drops in the morning (followed by my sunscreen) and then a few drops at night (followed by MUAC's glyluronic serum) has made my skin look so bright and clear.The serum is crystal clear, which I believe is an indication that the vitamin C is stable and safe to use. I bought this Vitamin C serum because it had Hyaluronic Acid (H.A.) in it. I've had good experiences with H.A. but needed a little something more to get at the deeper lines, rather than a temporary fill the H.A. gives me. It works...very well. My lines are significantly lessened and my skin smoother.I can't give the product five stars though.While my skin seemed to love the Vitamin C serum, I got significantly more blackheads and pimples than I ever had before with any other product. I am unsure if others had the same problem but I am willing to concede that maybe I was not exfoliating enough (I was doing deep clean exfoliations 2-3 times a week) or I need to use a different face cleanser.And, at times, it also seemed like the Vitamin C irritated my skin and I would get red hives in the spots I applied it. i have been using skinceuticals for many years. my morning regimen is c e with ferulic acid....eye gel aox with l-ascorbic acid,and ferulic acid,and hydra b5 gel. i am 53 yrs. old and have been told i have beautiful skin. when i was younger we were not aware of the damage uv rays would cause on our skin, and i abused the sun by using baby-oil, and sun reflectors.....but on a recent visit to my dermatologist he said,"i have no sun damage on my face" i have to attribute this to the skinceutical products that i use. i also have my husband using these products, and he has smooth beautiful skin. we also use a retinol product at night, and i feel we hit on a winning combination....so until they find the fountain of youth .....i will be using these products.

I've been using SkinCeuticals for 8 months now and I'm really pleased with the results. The brand is not too expensive, but it's the best I have ever tried.
