YES! worrmmmmssss
Im very happy with my purchase. This is a big ball of live worms with very little filler soil. You are getting tons of worms in this package and they are all very feisty and alive. In fact, they drilled holes in the fabric container and a few ended up within the cardboard box. If you leave this box unopened on your kitchen table prepare to find a few worms in your carpet! I split them all up and put them in various parts of the yard. happy composting!

Customer Review

My new little friends
UPDATE: We've had our red wigglers now for about a year in one of our raised bed gardens and they're still thriving. The soil in that bed is ready to be moved to other beds for vegetable growing. It is so rich and light and in 500% better than what we started with. The worms aren't exactly talking to us, but they sure seem like our choice of organic matter we discard into their home.My wife and I USED to be very organic... we ground our own flour and made our own whole grain bread. We made yogurt, sourdough culture, dried our own fruit, used honey in excessive quantities. But as we grew older, we got less and less organic and more convenience-oriented. We're not eating white bread and cheetos, but we haven't ground flour in a few years. This past summer, we wanted to grow some vegetables in our raised vegetable beds on our back property. The soil was pretty compacted - lots of clay here in northern California... so we looked into composting. We ran across the...

Great quality and speed!
This seller is amazing. I ordered the worms and they came pretty much instantly. The seller warned of them possibly being stressed or dehydrated upon arrival but the worms were happy and healthy and numerous in quantity. I am so happy and was not expecting such a great find on Amazon. The shipping is SO cheap, it blows my mind.

Product Description

Specially selected, ready-to-hatch earthworms boost garden fertility and improve the quality of the soil. We are currently shipping Lumbricus rubellus, also sometimes called a red wiggler or a redworm.

Earthworms are amazing creatures. Simply by performing their daily activities of moving about, feeding and eliminating spent food, they can single-handedly improve the quality of your soil.

Encapsulated Earthworm Cocoons make it convenient and easy to add these soil-transforming creatures to your garden. Plant these ready-to-hatch egg cocoons just as you would ordinary seeds. They're especially useful for people switching from conventional gardening to organic gardening.

Greatest Living Natural Soil Boosters

Gardeners covet earthworms' presence in their plots because their castings boost nitrogen in the soil, they move deep-soil nutrients closer to plant roots, their tunnels loosen soil improving aeration, and their activities help soil particles bond, balancing moisture retention and drainage.

Earthworms perform this same magic in compost, speeding the development of nutrient-dense, moisture-dispersing humus. In sufficient numbers, earthworms will rejuvenate depleted soil. They will shift soil pH closer to neutral and even control harmful nematodes. Each cocoon will have anywhere from one to twelve eggs in them. We guarantee that each cocoon contains at least one earthworm egg.

Keep your VermiPods under refrigeration until you are ready to plant them. Place them in the vegetable drawer of your refrigerator where there is adequate humidity. They may be kept up to two to three months under these conditions before planting.

We recommend planting the earthworm cocoons at the same time you plant your crops. Much like the Indians use to put a fish by each plant in the fields for fertilizer. Top to learn more

BUY 50 VermiPod Encapsulated Earthworm Cocoons - Easy/Clean Way to Worm Your Garden

Buy Earthworms

You can buy earthworms so that your lawn and garden can be aerated and enriched by their activity. Unfortunately, while we are making our grass grow we are waging war with  poisons on some of the natural, beneficial gifts that Mother Nature has given us, such as earthworms. The earthworms don’t tolerate those treatments very well and they truly are a gift that should be protected in our lawns. Earthworm “castings” are actually sold as garden and soil enrichments as they are loaded with nutrients.

You do have to peek in the bin on a regular basis to make sure it isn’t too wet or dry and to make sure you have a nice ecosystem going on in there. One bin can only handle about three pounds of scraps per week.

Some dog earthworms is visible through the human eye alone although some cannot, so that it may be beneficial to request a veterinarian to carry out a stool test for dog earthworms annually. Early earthworm recognition is essential because each kind of dog earthworm needs a different type of treatment. Young puppies may also contract these earthworms with the ingestion of the infected animal (like a rodent) or infected soil. Some earthworm contaminations may show virtually no signs and symptoms, whereas others can demonstrate severe signs and symptoms, for example vomiting, diarrhea and weight reduction. This is actually the most everyday sort of dog earthworm, which affects the digestive tract and results in a pot-bellied appearance, mostly in young puppies. When a puppy has consumed the infected soil, the eggs will hatch in the digestive tract, permitting the earthworms to reside there and grow to their adult years. Transmission of the dog earthworm to humans is generally through infected soil, which might be inside your backyard or front lawn. Detail pests isn't detected early and it is permitted an opportunity to develop, an accumulation of earthworms within the digestive tract may cause a blockage which may lead to dying. It's also wise to bear in mind to the fact that roundworm and hookworm are zoonotic, meaning these earthworms could be sent to humans. When your puppy has arrived at 6 several weeks old, he's less prone to contracting these earthworms but should continue yearly exams (or even more frequently if considered high-risk).

They've little humps around the lower side of the physiques, which are affixed to frontal segments which make up the ft later on. The larvae from the meal earthworms hatch-out using their eggs, eat away everything and grow very rapidly and alter... Arachnids along with other predatory bugs don't try to eat super earthworms due to their outer hard chitin. Meal earthworms are important for that global atmosphere for recycling of organic matter. Meal earthworms are available effortlessly underneath the barks of trees, around rotten wood, in the earth and ant's nests. The super earthworms are utilized as class subjects to show existence cycles of bugs. Super earthworms would be the larvae of the species referred to as darkling beetle. Crickets essentially feast upon organic matter, rotting plants, fungi plus some growing plants but just in case of scarcity of food they are recognized to feed by themselves dead.
