Creating a Home Dust Collection System
My Shop-Vac is a 12 Gallon Model 800L. In 2010, I added a Trash Can Cyclone Lid w/ a 5-gallon bucket to create a 2-stage system.After having a malfunction that clogged the paper filter, I browsed the Shop-Vac website for a solution. I equipped the 800L with aGore CleanStream-Gore HEPA Cartridge Filter (Shop-Vac 9034000) and a Disposable Collection Filter Bag (906-62-00).This created a 3-stage system that is effective for filtering all but the extremely finest dust.I also replaced the Reusable Disc Filter on my Mini-Vac with a Super Performance Dacron® Cloth Filter (901-15-00).I also purchased a Super Performance Dacron® Reusable Disc Filter (901-13-00) and a 3-Pack of Reusable Disc Filters (901-37-00) as backup for both vacuums.

Cleanable filter in Micro Shop Vac
I was having quite a bit of trouble finding cleanable filters for my Micro Shop-Vac. I ordered this one because it said it would fit all Shop Vacs and it fits my Micro just fine. I have only shaken it out a few times to clean it and have not washed it yet. So far it seems to be working well just fine. I use it to vacuum window sills out in my window cleaning service. This seems to be much better than having to use disposable filter bags which were plugging up very fast with the fine dust that comes from window sills. I do not want to have to buy new filter bags.
