A Peek into the Secrets of Real Life Business
I'm a sole proprietor of a healing arts business. I always looked at larger companies as mysterious and complicated things. From the outside, corporations seemed so sophisticated and impenetrable. After reading this book, I not only appreciate just how similar my business challenges are to any other company's, I've learned many principles that will guide me in my professional life. Stan has a great way of not only imparting practical knowledge, he also brings a light-heartedness to otherwise serious subjects that contributes to a healthier perspective. Sewitch Tells It Straight and True
I've read a lot of business books, many of which were informative and interesting. But I've never read a book like "Notes from the Corporate Underground". Sewitch illuminates his thoughts with real-life vignettes that both educate and entertain in a way that makes the learning easily digestible. His ability to talk about business and the human adventure simultaneously, painting stories that are rich with life and texture, is seldom found in this genre. And the short essay format is perfect for those of us who have a difficult time carving any free reading time out of our frenetic lives. I can't wait for Volume II!

The Best Business Note book I've come across...
I have many other books but this is the one I go back to time and again. How-to books in my library are used as inspiration and guidance for writing sound notes. I've found this book to be an outstanding source. Actually, I have the hard copy and the Kindle version :)
