This doesn't harm or alter your PS3 from working. You can buff your copper with copper cleaner or Brasso before installing. Totally up to you as it's only for looks. Good on it's own, Excellent when amped
Before deciding on this model of headphones, I had debated between the Creative Fatality's, Sennheiser 350's, and Audio Technica ATH-AD700's. I almost went with the AD700's but wanted a headset with an integrated mic, I wouldn't feel bad about loosing or throwing into a bag for travel, sounded decent, and didn't cost an arm and a leg (ruling out the Sennheiser's, as well). It was a difficult debate, to be sure. As you can guess, in the end, I went with the Gamecom's. Having now owned them for about a week, I now wish to offer my review.OVERALL QUALITYOverall quality of this headset is very good. As others have noted, the majority of the headset consists of a sturdy, durable plastic that feels as though it will last for years. The ear pads are covered in a black velour that, while very soft and comfortable, will attract dust and hair very easily. Also, I don't know if any of the pads are replaceable. Decent heaphone for the price
I bought these to replace another Plantronics set that I broke. They sound decent (if a little tinny), and the microphone does what it needs to do.The microphone doesn't immediately stick out in front of your mouth, but you can bend it into shape as long as you don't care about sliding it back into the headphone band. I don't care to hide the mircophone, anyway. This set already has the "military chopper pilot" look, so you may as well complete it with the microphone.These headphones leak a bit more than the last set I used, so they're not useful for quiet listening when someone else is in the room. Product Review to help Fellow Online Purchasers
With all the negative comments about this product I wanted to give it a fair chance. I am writing this review because as a fellow online purchaser, product feedback is very important in making your purchase decisions. I almost did not buy this product because of the negative reviews but for $15 I figured it would be worth the risk and now I am glad I bought it. I have made a couple DVDs so far and it has been trial and error but I am getting better each time. This product works and so far is working great. The hardest part is learning to use the software that comes in the package with the Easycap. Just a few steps to get you going... Put the disc in prior to inserting the easy cap. When it autoruns then click on the install driver option. (There are more in depth directions that come with the product but they were in broken English so I'm trying to help with that.) The directions say to tell it not to search the internet then continue on and eventually you will get to a screen that... Top to learn more

This product is great but not perfect it has better quality then a DAzzle but only after i change some settings in the capture area heres how i did it1. click capture video but don't capture.2. click video type.3. click mpeg.4. click options, then click the 'SECOND' option.5. click capture up in the tabs of the options.6. move the quality meter all the way up to 100%.7. then click advance.8. make the quality DVD then scroll to the bottom then click 720 by 620 NTSC or the PAL option right below it if your in Europe.9. the click display area and make it 16.9 then make the bit rate constant bit rate.10. keep the audio were it is expect if the bit rate is under or above 224kbps then make it 224kbps to remove static.11. now download a media encoder because MPEG isn't compatible with alot of programs.13. Now record i bet the quality will be 999999999X better!14. now click this review was helpful. Top to learn more

Good and Bad experience...
I'm a bit confused by some of the earlier reviews, but i'm about to place my second order from this seller because my first shipment arrived incredibly fast (1-2 days) and was EXACTLY as (if not better than) described!! Meaning, the case was of AMARY type (not elite) just like what Disney packages...with the silver EMBOSED logo on top, rounded corners and locking latch.Overall, these cases were of much higher quality than the ones i get with my blu-ray discs. I use these cases to replace the "used" blu-rays i buy from block buster since their cases are just hideous.I will say, the company that shipped my 10 cases was [...] coming from Olney, MD. Maybe this is not the usual supplier for this seller, but i hope my next order comes from them as well because they exceeded my expectations in every way!!! These are Elite cases
To those that care, these are cases produced by Elite not Amaray. Sony and Disney use Amaray cases with the embossed bluray logo and folding latch, Elite cases(Fox and Warner) are squarer and have their bluray logo stamped on and dont have the latch. Also Elites are slightly thicker then Amaraysdecent cases if your looking for replacements but I perfer the Amarays for ALL my blurays Top to learn more

False Advertising
The downside: The product description says that these are the same size as the cases you get when you buy a movie at the store. I just got these in and it is far from the truth. The color of blue is a shade off, the corners are pointed and not rounded like the original cases and the blu ray icon on the top center is not embossed into the case but is just stamped on.The plus: I needed cases that did not have that annoying sticky stuff from the security stickers on it because some movies were sticking together and it was driving me nuts. So I am happy that some of my movies are in clean cases - but I am not pleased because they do not match the other blu rays that I own. Top to learn more

I’ve had friends go with Sony to fix their yellow lights and after the 90 day warranty if they developed any kind of issue. I’ve been telling everyone because its sad that Sony charges $ 150 and gives only a 90 day warranty. 00 repair fee to fix it. So if you want to pay $ 150 for a refurbished console, and lose all your data, go for it. I was in this situation several months ago. Whereas, Gophermods fixes your console, returns your game, and won’t erase your data.
i have ran into this problem before with the ps3′s and 360′s…even computers i work on. what happens is the processor heats up immediatly when you turn the console on. the thermal paste helps the heat transfer to the heat sink and the fan cools it... What happened is you put to much thermal paste.
